About
Garry Rogers Motorsport is an Australian motor racing team this year competing in the Trans Am Cup Series, and as a wildcard entry in the 2026 Bathurst 1000.
The team was founded by racing driver Garry Rogers who began the team to further his own racing efforts. Based in Melbourne, originally out of a Nissan dealership owned by Rogers, the team has competed in a variety of touring car series in Australia ranging from relatively modest Nissan production cars to AUSCAR, Supercars and the famed Bathurst 24 Hour races.
The team won the Bathurst 1000 in 2000, and – in Holden Monaro GT’s built in-house – GRM also won both of the Bathurst 24 Hour races held in 2002 and 2003. In 2022 and 2023 GRM claimed back-to-back Trans Am Championships.
In 2023 the team celebrated its 60th year in racing since Rogers made his debut. Rogers’ legacy is one renowned for talent spotting with a number of legendary drivers finding their feet within GRM including Steven Richards, Jason Bargwanna, Garth Tander, Jamie Whincup, Lee Holdsworth and Scott McLaughlin. Many of these drivers became future champions and Bathurst 1000 winners.
In 2026 the legacy of Garry Rogers continues with the team fielding four cars in the Trans Am Cup Series, while partnering with the two Marcos Ambrose Motorsport entries. The team are also making their Supercars return as a wildcard in the Bathurst 1000 for Nathan Herne and James Moffat.
