Four P51 Peugeots for Bathurst Finale

Aaron Cameron and Ryan Casha will make the switch to the Peugeot P51 308 TCRs for the final round of the season in Supercheap Auto TCR Australia.

The Valvoline duo join Jordan Cox and Ben Bargwanna in the GRM-built cars, following a race win on debut for the new generation of Peugeot TCR racer at the hands of Jordan Cox in Race 2.

Trico Trans Am also returns to action after a lengthy break, making up for it with back-to-back weekends to round out the season!

The Bathurst form guide is a good one for GRM, where the team rolled out fast across both categories nearly 12 months ago. Cameron starred against the world’s top drivers as TCR Australia took on the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour, with the Valvoline driver picking up second outright amid a spectacular charge at the title, which fell just a touch short with a DNF in the final race of the season.

Cox carries plenty of momentum after his race win in Sydney, and along with Ben Bargwanna will have a weekend under his belt aboard the new Peugeot to bring in to Bathurst. Along with Casha these three drivers all stand a long shot at the 2024 title in TCR Australia, needing the top three on the table to falter. It is Bathurst however, so anything can happen!

The Trans Am crew delivered a podium lockout in Bathurst last year, after sweeping the top three places in qualifying as well! A repeat would be nice, but it’s all eyes on an engaging points battle between our man James Moffat, Todd Hazelwood, and Jordan Boys.

Moff is 32 points back, with five races to go in the season. This weekend offers up a pair of 40-minute races, before a trio of sprints to round of the year next weekend in Adelaide.

Thornburrow enjoyed his best round of the season at Bathurst last year and will be looking to replicate that form this weekend. Brett Holdsworth has had strong results in previous Bathurst visits, as has Jimmy Golding across various categories while Tom Davies will be relishing his first V8 laps of the Mountain.

All the racing across both categories will be live and free on 7plus, while 7mate carries coverage of Race 2 in TCR and Trans Am on Saturday. 7two will carry coverage of the final race of the season in TCR Australia on Sunday.
