Double podium day for GRM at Sandown

Jordan Cox claimed his first podium in TCR Australia today finishing the opening TCR Australia race in 3rd. James Golding also finished 3rd in the first S5000 race.

“It’s pretty surprising. I didn’t know how I’d go. It’s a car that I haven’t driven anything similar too. It’s a whole different ball game for me,” said James Golding.
“I really enjoyed. It’s plenty of fun.
“Starting next to Rubens Barrichello was really weird, but pretty cool. Definitely a first for me to be near someone like that.
“I really enjoyed the race, I got a solid start and help my position, which was really good. I’ve surprised myself, which has been good. I can’t wait for tomorrow.”
The S5000 field will return on Sunday for the second Qualifying Race ahead of the 30 minute Feature Race tomorrow afternoon. TCR Australia will be back on track for Races 2 and 3.
