Lachlan Evennett to Make Super2 Debut with Garry Rogers Motorsport

Talented rising star Lachlan Evennett will make the step up to the Dunlop Super2 Series at the Adelaide Street Circuit, the debut will come as Garry Rogers Motorsport make a first appearance in the series since 2019.

18-year-old Evennett has already amassed an incredible amount of experience in his young career, driving for GRM since 2025 in the Trans Am Cup Series alongside GT4 campaigns across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Evennett already has a pole position – Mallala 2025 – and multiple podium finishes to his name in the highly competitive Trans Am Series, class wins in GT4 Australia and GT4 New Zealand, as well as a podium on his European debut.

GRM’s last appearance on the Super2 grid came in 2019, where the team fielded entries for Rookie of the Year Dylan O’Keeffe and Mason Barbera. Evennett will enter Adelaide with a strong foundation, having competed on the revered street circuit last year where he enjoyed his strongest Trans Am round to date with a trio of podium finishes.

CAMM Quarries & Concrete continue their longstanding major support for Evennett, with the Holden ZB Commodore carrying the signature yellow and white livery seen across all of Evennett’s racing programs.

Evennett will also carry GRM’s signature number 34, which has been in use at the team for over 25 years.

While the Super2 debut will take place as part of the bp Adelaide Grand Final from November 26-30, Evennett and GRM will be in action next weekend for Round 5 of the Trans Am season at The Bend Motorsport Park.

“Supercars are always considered one of the hardest cars to drive due to how uniquely they are built and the techniques required to wring the most lap time out of the car. It will definitely be a challenge to get my head around, but I think my time in Trans Am has given me a good baseline and comfort level in a lot of relevant areas.

“It’s really easy to forget that Lachy only turned 18 earlier this year, considering the motorsport that he has consumed throughout 2026.

“Lachy first came to our attention when he was 14-years old racing Formula Ford. Dad (Garry), was a strong believer in Formula Ford and rated highly the young drivers who performed in that category. A lot of credit must be given to Brett Francis and his team for the way they have developed Lachy through both their Formula Ford and Toyota 86 programs.
